Each Lifeform level grows linearly × exponentially (level × base × factor^(level−1)), which is why it ramps up so fast. The Energy column is the target level consumption, not cumulative. In Range mode, "From" is the level already built and is not included.

How to use it

Step 1 — Pick the lifeform

Select Humans, Rock’tal, Mechas or Kaelesh. Each species has its own 12 buildings and 18 technologies.

Step 2 — Buildings or technologies and levels

Switch tabs and choose "single level" or "level range" mode. In range mode, "From" is the level already built and is not included in the sum.

Step 3 — Universe and factories

Set the universe economy and research speed and the Robotics and Nanite Factory levels to compute build times.

Step 4 — Advanced options

Apply cost and time reductions (buildings and research) and ion technology, which only affects the deconstruction cost.

Features

  • Costs for all 4 lifeforms: 12 buildings and 18 technologies per species.
  • Cost per level or per range, with metal, crystal, deuterium, energy, time and points.
  • Build times based on universe speed, Robotics Factory and Nanite Factory.
  • Cost and time reductions, plus ion technology for building deconstruction.
  • Per-tab totals and a grand total for the species (buildings + technologies).

Frequently asked questions

Why do the costs grow so fast?

Each lifeform level grows linearly × exponentially: level × base × factor^(level−1), not just exponentially like normal buildings. That is why they shoot up as the level rises.

What does the Energy column mean?

It is the energy consumption of the target level, not the cumulative across all levels.

How does Range mode work?

It sums the cost of going from the "From" level (exclusive, the one you already have) up to the "To" level.

Can they be deconstructed?

Buildings can, with a deconstruction cost that ion technology reduces. Technologies cannot be deconstructed.

Are the figures accurate?

Costs are verified against the proxyforgame open-source engine (OGame v13). Names and formulas are checked against the current game.
