Target defenses

How to use it

Step 1 — Gather the enemy data

You need the target's defenses, their armour technology and your own weapons technology. The fastest way is to spy the enemy: copy the espionage report and paste it into "Read espionage report"; the tool auto-fills defenses, anti-ballistic missiles and armour.

Step 2 — Enter your missiles and weapons tech

Type how many interplanetary missiles you will launch and your weapons technology level. Each missile deals 12,000 × (1 + weapons/10) damage.

Step 3 — Choose a primary target (optional)

You can set a specific defense as the priority target; missiles destroy it first and the remaining damage carries on to the rest. With no target, the standard impact order is used.

Step 4 — Simulate or compute the missiles needed

"Simulate" shows which defenses fall, the defender's lost resources and the balance against your missile cost. "Missiles needed" does the reverse calculation to wipe the target, counting the anti-ballistic missiles to exhaust.

Features

  • Automatic espionage report parsing (defenses, armour and ABMs).
  • Anti-ballistic missile (ABM) interception, one for one.
  • Destroyed defenses and the enemy's lost metal, crystal and deuterium.
  • Missiles required to destroy a specific defense or the whole defense.
  • Attack balance: resources at stake versus the cost of your missiles.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get the enemy's defense and armour data?

By spying the target. Copy the espionage report and paste it into the tool, which reads the data automatically. If the report is incomplete, send more probes to get the full information.

Do interplanetary missiles destroy the enemy's missiles?

They can, but stored enemy missiles cannot be set as the primary target: they only take damage once the rest of the impact order has fallen.

What if I don't set the enemy's armour technology?

The simulation drifts from reality, since armour raises each defense's hull by 10% per level. For game-accurate results, use the defender's real armour level.

What if I don't enter my weapons technology?

Damage is computed with weapons 0 (12,000 per missile), so you will need more missiles than in reality. Enter your level for an exact result.

What are anti-ballistic missiles (ABM)?

They are the target's defense against missiles: each ABM intercepts one interplanetary missile before impact. The tool subtracts them first, and only the remaining missiles damage the defenses.
